18 lucky Cannons players from our U12, U14, U16 or U18 teams will be able to join the Melbourne Boomers for a thrilling day with behind-the-scenes access to Boomers athletes. Players will learn from Coaching staff Chris Lucas and Kristi Harrower and enjoy exclusive insights into the world of professional training at Boom Box, including:

- Tour and Welcome: Guided tour of the professional training facilities at the Boom Box including athlete performance centre and recovery pools
- Closed WNBL Practice Viewing: Witness the intensity of a closed practice session.
- Athlete Photo Opportunity: A chance to meet our athletes post-training a get a photo with your club

Cannons and the Boomers are on a similar mission to empower more girls in basketball, believing that seeing Boomers athletes in action can make a significant impact. “You can’t be what you can’t see.” This event is a unique chance to inspire the next generation of basketball enthusiasts.
